Legal notes for your protection and ours

All grave tendings are normally undertaken Monday to Friday, weekends are by arrangement only. Prices given for our services assume that normal maintenance will bring the grave back to a presentable condition. However, if there is something extraordinary (such as a tree that needs removal or chainsaw work), then we will do what we can and advise you of the situation, aided by the photograph(s) showing the issue.

Because of the nature of our service in that we are often visiting remote or quiet places, along with the fact that it is not possible to obtain a signature after the work is done, the digital photographs that we take of the plot before and after our visit will be the proof of the fulfillment of the work. This photo will then be e-mailed to your nominated address. If a printed photograph is required, this is an additional charge. We will keep a copy for our records and will only use it for promotional purposes with your permission. We cannot accept any liability for any loss or damage to the grave before we arrive or after we have finished.

You are requested to give us the location of the graveyard or cemetery, and the location of the grave within it. Otherwise it can be difficult to find, therefore we cannot guarantee that the work will be done on the first visit. If it is not possible to find you will be charged £30 for the cost of the visit. If you need us to locate the grave for you, we can do so for a one off cost of £25.

We are not able to accept responsibility for problems arising from the provision of a service where relevant permissions have not been obtained.

Cancellation: Both you and we have the right to cancel up to 7 days before a scheduled or pre-arranged visit, or to cancel the remaining of an annual agreement. Refund shall be made in respect of the non-performed visit(s). Should we have incurred an expense for a visit that is forthcoming (such as ordering of flowers or other goods) we have the right to deduct the cost of this from any refund.

eMail:

The contact forms do not record any email addresses that are entered. All that happens is that they email Paul Morris using the given email address as a sender. Emails sent to Paul are responded to as soon as possible, using the supplied email address. This stays in his address book until there is no further need for it. Paul Morris does not send any bulk unsolicited email - Paul hates spam as much as everyone else does.
