Legal notes for your protection and ours

This is a joint enterprise between PM Studios Ltd. and Grave Respect Ltd. All the work will be carried out by PM Studios Ltd to whom payment should be made.

For photographing a resting place, the photography is normally undertaken at our timing, but within an agreed time-frame. Prices given for our services assume that normal access is granted and that, where required, little maintenance will bring the grave back to a presentable condition. However, if there is something extraordinary (such as a tree in the way or badly overgrown), then we will do what we can and advise you of the situation, aided by the photograph(s) showing the issue.

You are requested to give us the location of the graveyard or cemetery, and the location of the grave within it. Otherwise it can be difficult to find, therefore we cannot guarantee that the work will be done on the first visit. If it is not possible to find, you will be charged for the visit.

We are not able to accept responsibility for problems arising from the provision of a service where relevant permissions have not been obtained. Note that we cannot accept any liability for any loss or damage to the grave before we arrive or after we have finished.

Cancellation: Both you and we have the right to cancel up to 7 days before a pre-arranged visit.

Funerals:

Photographing a funeral can be contentious. You are responsible for ensuring that all the relevant parties have agreed to have the funeral photographed. Should there be objections, we will back off - it is not our intent to be the source of arguments. Should this occur you will still be liable for our attendance and travelling fees.

We will do our best to attend at the time given, and are reliant on the directions given; we cannot be responsible if circumstances beyond our control prevent us from attending on time.

Privacy:

We respect your privacy. No details are collected about you from this website apart from that noted below. We keep computer records that are not stored on the web of our client requirements, payments etc. that enable us to operate a business effectively.

Cookies:
Cookies sometimes frighten people but they are quite common and harmless - they are just simple text files. This website does not place cookies on your computer apart from two exceptions. To monitor some web statistics so that the usage of the site can be monitored we use the Google Analytics service which may place cookies: see Google Analytics for more details.

More information on cookies, how to stop them and how to delete them can be seen on the About Cookies website.

Visitor statistics:
These are used so that the usage of the site can be monitored. Understanding how visitors use a website is an important element in being able to provide an effective website. Three services are used:

  • Google Analytics as detailed above.
  • Hosting package statistics. These are active and are the default facility provided by the hosting company, in this case Merula. The statistics package is provided by 'Webalizer'. Please refer to their respective websites for more information.

eMail:
The contact forms do not record any email addresses that are entered. All that happens is that they email Paul Morris using the given email address as a sender. Emails sent to Paul are responded to as soon as possible, using the supplied email address. This stays in his address book until there is no further need for it. Paul Morris does not send any bulk unsolicited email - Paul hates spam as much as everyone else does.
